Synchrony max exposure

I was recently approved for the ebates platinum card with a $750 limit. My question is was the low approval caused by having too much credit with them? My care credit is at $10k, Lowes $16k, and SAMs MC $8.5k. Care credit and SAMs both just got an increase. I was denied an increase on the ebates. If I were to ask my Lowe's limit to be decreased would it increase my chances of getting an CLI in the future?
