Fingerhut is also on that list even though I did get a really great deal one ONE thing once lol. I think they may all head to the chopping block soon, except the Macys card. I'll keep that one and keep attempting to grow it. They did give me once decent increase, and when you have the coupons and sales, it isn't completely worthless.
Both Nordies and Macy's are growers.
e.g.
Nordstrom
2k store >> 15k Visa Sig
Macy's
400 store >>12.5k Amex
Exactly!
VS for me. I know you can use it at B&B but it was a waste - closed it after 10mos.
I am a little surprised to see so many declaring the WalMart card to be "useless". With no AF, I am glad to get a free monthly TU FICO score.
I am also a little surprised about the Diamond Preffered. It was a great BT card when I needed that and as soon as the intro APR runs out I will PC it probably to Dividend. It has far from outlived its usefullness for me.
My most useless card is my Sportsman's Guide Visa (what was I thinking?!)
Followed in close second by the Crapital One QS1. I refuse to start out $35 in the hole from the AF and try to make up for that at 1.5% and I refuse to continue to sing and dance for the EO.
Both these cards are on their deathbeds barely hanging on for dear life!
right now i dont have any useless cards. I use my marriott rewards for restaurants and cars as well as marriott stays, my BoA better balance for bonus cash back on the cash back deals, i changed my regular BoA visa to cash rewards so ill be using that for groceries and gas now and my amex blue sky for evey day purchases since points are worth 1.33% im pretty happy with them all.

But when you can get the score from Barclays or Discover on much better cards..It is easy then to SD the Walmart cards

Yes, as said before, depends also on what other cards you have. If the only card you have gives 0.25% cashback with a $20 AF, that might still be useful to you, but not to people with better cards.

Assuming we are comparing the Walmart discover card and not just the walmart card..lol But yeah it is relative to each person, but I think once other lenders began to offer TU scores the Walmarts cards lost the appeal.. Think if you polled the forum on which cards they would choose between the Discover it, Barclay rewards and Walmart discover card. Third place wouldn't be a shocker..
My worthless card is Wells Fargo Platinum card, will be closing it once its replaced by Wells Fargo Propel AMEX
For that I will be closing my Wells Fargo VISA and Sony VISA these two are useless for me also considering the fact of how difficult it is to obatin CLI.
