I'm sure most of you are aware they changed their bonus/pts structured as of July 28th.
I had an targeted email offer for 20,000 points after $1000 spend in 3 months that expired on the 27th. But this had no 0% intro period. At the time on Citi's website, there was a 15,000 points after $1000 spend in 3 months that did have 0% APR for BT and purchases. I decided to sign up there.
the NEXT day on the 28th of July, which is also the current offer. Is a 20,000 points after $1,500 spend in 3 months AND the 0% intro period. I missed out by 1 day.
I called Citi and see if they can put me on the other offer and they can't BUT he said that just continued to spend the $1,000 in 3 months for the 15,000 points and he will manually credit me the 5,000 point difference.
I'm happy!

The BofA Susan G Komen is a WMC that is the same exact card as to Cash Rewards. It reports the credit line to the CRAs and also states "flexible spending account".
Wow, your'e right. I have never noticed this.
I might have to PC to this card. I could use a WMC. Thank you thank you!
I remember hearing recently about citi that if you had a visa sig and asked for an emv card, the new card would not have the Visa Sig logo. Something about the placement of the chip and logo i think. Maybe that is whats up.
@vpae wrote:Well, I just got my card. The logo on it is just a VISA. No Signature.
It has the Chip thou.
On the supplied documentation, nothing about Signature. One paragrah says
"With no preset spending limit, each charge that causes your balance to exceed your revolving credit limit will be evaluated based on accoutn usage and performance, other account relationships with us (if applicable), and your experience with other creditors. You must pay in full each month any amount that exceeds your revolving credit limit. Available for Citi ThankYou Preferred cardmembers."
So yeah, it must be a Citi thing. :/

Yea, I have the card, got it to get the $100 bonus again (have the Cash Rewards too). I just checked my Equifax, however, and I misspoke. It reports the credit line, but states "credit card". I got it mixed up with the Cash Rewards, that reports no credit line and states "flexible spending credit card".
My CTP hasn't shown up on my Equifax yet, I'll have to keep an eye on it. On my Experian, another Citi card shows up as Credit Card, but the TYP shows up as Flexible Spending Credit Card.

That's pretty funny. It definitey looks like there's room on the card! haha. I didn't even ask for EMV. But it's my only card with it, I'll take it
i could be misremebering or conflating with something else
if citi is handing out npsl for non-visa sigs im ok with it lol
Yeah, agreed!

But if for some reason I'm ever that closed to my limit with so many other cards.... I have bigger problems to worry about lol
Looks just like this card!
Silly Citi and their NPSL.

@eddie84 wrote:My BofA Travel Rewards card (Visa Signature) also reports as Flexible Spending account and from the info I got on here, it shouldn't count against your utilization. Hope that helps.
The card will be taken into account when utilization is calculated.
Bank of America always reports VERY fast.
Well, Lexie said it isn't factored into the FICO score and here's the link. I was under the impression that if it isn't factored into the FICO score then it shouldn't effect the utilization (for scoring purpose).
I don't know on what basis she made that comment.
Hopefully she'll step in and shed some light on this subject.
