13.99 to 13.24 HEHE
Because of you, just got partners down to this after chatting twice!!
I finally gave it an try today and they reduced it to 15.99 for me so thats pretty much in line with all my other travel cards. US airways and CSP i think are both 15.99 also so thats fine for me.
Just tried via chat and got denied again. This is pretty incredible. I've given Citi enough in interest payments since the late 90's to probably buy a car or two. I'm transferring my balnce out of there ASAP.

@Anonymous wrote:I just tried to get my rate lowered with Citi and I got stonewalled. They wouldn't budge off of 19.99 and I've been a customer for well over 15 years and never asked for a decrease before! I just asked the first person I got on the phone and after putting me on hold for 10 or 15 seconds to "check what was available" she came back and said "there are no offers available at thime". This is pretty shocking to me. What should I do next? Thanks.
You need to CHAT online, not call!
Chatting has never worked for me. Calling and asking to speak to a manger DOES WORK (maybe cause I have citigold checking idk) but Chat they denied me but calling they lowered my AA plat to 12.99 and my AA gold to like 11.24

That's a given if you are paying interest and have options to move to 0%!! go get chase slate or something.
better chance of lower apr when you are not carrying balance also!

Just call. Ask to speak to a manger and ask them nicely. They have more power than just a rep looking at the number and saying yes or no.
