Yes, he applied and, unfortunately, was not approved ![]()
I already have 2 CCs with them but I'm gonna hold off. My recent newbies would definitely have them go *poof* if I apply.

I agree. But equally if the card has good features, I don't care what network it runs on, including Amex. For me though, this card doesn't do that.

Well there are a variety of different benefits with other AMEX network cards that don't have to be issued from Centurion Bank. It depends on the affinity product and has nothing to do with it being a member bank-issued AMEX. Different strokes for different folks.
