Yup!! That's why I tried telling everyone check a day after your account switches. I also have these 2, and a third option of the plain Venture to switch to. The Venture has a $95 program fee though so I don't know how worth it that would be. Anyone else have that and switch? If so what made you go with the Venture and pay the fee compared to the Venture One that has no fee?

Ok I have the Walmart MC with 19K limit no balance at this time. Have not receive any letters telling when my card will change to the Quick silver, I am going to put small charge on the card after my cycle date don't want it to report. What is Capital one going do close the account or give a second Quick silver Mastercard.

@firefox100  I don't recall getting a letter. I logged in to see I now have two QuickSilver cards.

I meant a fresh app for a Venture card. I haven't really looked into it to see how much the SUB is towards a flight.

My Walmart MC finally started showing up as a QS last week and I've been clicking the show offers and upgrades button daily ever since

Got an email today that I could upgrade 

they offered the Venture rewards and the savor.  

I chose the savor for the 3% streaming / dining / grocery.   

Better than the 1.5 on the QS

I went with the Savor as well after they sent me the Quicksilver first. Then received an email saying i could upgrade. I have no need for the either of the Venture cards because I haven't flown in years and would likely use my Chase Saphire Preferred if I did. And yes, Quicksilver is a terrible 'rewards' card.

Question: Did Capital One originally say the credit card number will remain the same or that it would change?? I was hoping it would not change so there would not be a new card on my credit report.
