2. Delta Skymiles (or Skymiles Gold, if enough travel will occur to offset the annual fee on the gold one--I THINK it has an AF)
Gold DOES have an AF of $95. You might want to look at Platinum ($195 AF) and companion certificates if you are considering paying an annual fee. Gold does not have companion certs, and I the only reason I still keep my Delta AMEX is that the companion certificate more than offsets the annual fee for me (I get free money, essentially).

My reasons for my list is:
2. Capital Savor one card, me and The Wifey Love to try new Resturants, Date nights are plenty, so i can definitely maximize the 3% cash back on Dining😀 plus there is no annual fee
There is also Uber Visa, in case you were not aware. 4% back, no AF, no FTF.
(Cons: $50 lower SUB, and Barclays can be weird, not in a good way.)
1) To PC my Dividend to Double Cash. Citi still won't oblige and no, thank you, I do not want to PC to the Thank You Preferred
2) State Department FCU 2% cash back Visa for a PIN priority card (likely to get this one before Citi allows the PC)
3) Platinum Delta Skymiles AmEx for free checked bag and companion pass
4) PenFed Pathfinder AmEx for a no AF card that offers $100 airline incidentals and offers credit to cover Precheck
5) Chase Sapphire Preferred to transfer my stash of UR points (I have almost 25K. Would it be worth it to get CSP or should I cash out? I travel minimum once a year but this past year I have flown about 3 times and anticipating traveling at least twice next year)
6) AmEx SPG for free annual night
and maybe the Chase Hyatt for the same as well
I've opened six cards already this year. The good news is that I have a strong set of cash back cards (as noted in my sig), and can play for SUBs now.
The bad news is that I may need to garden awhile, and I am certainly out of the running for the Chase trifecta.
I am considering several mastercards with nice SUBs and downgrade paths. I can use mastercard to pay my mortgage, and meet these SUBs really quickly. As a bonus, each waives the AF in year 1:
Cap One Savor
Citi TY Premiere
Citi AAdvantage Platinum
BOA Business Travel Rewards
CapOne Venture is a Visa with a nice SUB, downgrade path and waived AF in year 1.
I am also interested in several juicy SUB "keeper" cards with AFs but annual benefits that outweigh the AF (such as a free hotel night).
Chase Hyatt
Barclay's Wyndham
FInally, since I cannot get the CSR, I am interested in the US Bank Altitude as my main travel card and for the 4.5% effective rate on Samsung Pay. I plan to switch from iPhone to a Galaxy just to use this card for mobile wallet purposes, as Samsung Pay is accepted at a lot more places than Apple pay.

What bank issues the Uber Visa CC? 4% sounds great😁
It's a Barclays card.

Honestly the only one for me is the AKC Visa. Strange, I know, to have a Comenity card as my top wanted card.
