could a previous AU affect signing up for amex BCE

I used to be a Au on my father's AMEX BCE. When my father died in April, I closed the acount. I was wondering when i decide to pull the trigger on my own amex, if the previous Au (it is still showing up on my credit report)could affexct me getting the account, SL, or SUB?

As you were not responsible for the account I do not believe so. When you apply everything will be based on your personal credit history.

Amex does not take your history as an authorized user into account whatsoever when applying for your own cards, other than any impact it may have to your Experian FICO 08 score.

Thanks. Still going to garden for a while before applying since i have 4 new cards, an AAoA of only 6 months, plus 2 additional hp’s from Verizon and at&t when i had to transfer cell and U-verse service when my father died.
