how harrd is it to get a Discover card

I got an invitation for discover from the mail, I know they check TU if you go to sam's club and apply for it. my fico score for TU is 681 with a 10 year history, should i give it a try?

I have no clue what my TU score was when I applied but my EQ score was 699. My overall utilization on my CCs at the time was about 68% and they approved me with a $4k limit and 0% APR for 12 months.

They did give me a 30 day wait notice (I thought that meant I was denied) but a rep called me a few days later and asked a few questions before approving me.

I think you have a very good chance of getting approved.

Discover card is not an easy approval. Generally, you need scores that are well over 700.

so which card is easy to get? i don't want to waste my time just for them to say no. i'm looking for a cl of about 5k

Scores alone (assuming you have no BK) you should be approved for:

Amex Gold Delta Skymiles (try and covert to a better card such as Blue, Blue Cash, Clear or whatever your heart desires at activation). Probably will pull EX

Hooters should pull TU

WAMU should pull TU

CITI PP should pull EQ

I have no way of knowing if they will give you a 5K CL though.
