Isn't that the lovely deal where, if you are late on one card, all the others (who do UD) gang up on you by raising their rates, too?

Re: wamu calling

I actually recieved an Invitation from them for the Visa today. Does anyone know if  the invitation is considered a pre-approval? I would really like to app for this card, because I only have First Premier, Orchard Bank (Secured), and Wal Mart Store card, and I don't want to apply for another card and get turned down. Still trying to improve on my scores.

How is your uti on your current cards.  When I applied for my Wamu I was surprised to be approved. I only had a Husehold rebuilder card at the time.  My initial approval was lower than that limit at the time but WaMu more than made up for it.

Re: wamu calling

All the UTIL's are between 0 and 10%, the last app was on the 28th of august. 6 hard inq's in the last 4 months. 5 for CC's and 1 for a checking account.

Are the inw on your TU or EX report.  I would wait to get some age on the new accounts.  you may be denied for too many new accounts.  How many were actually approved?
