Question, I was in an Apple store today and was told that I could use my apple creditcard to purchase the Iphone 15 and when the charge posts to the account then call GS to request the purchase to be put on a payment plan. Is the above info correct this work around, not to go with one of big 3 carriers.
Good question.
Maybe trying texting Apple Support with this.
I was told to keep this under my hat, apple does not want this to get out.
So it looks like anyone can buy the 15 directly from Apple at 0% for 24 months. I am assuming this would be not locked to any carrier -no?
@firefox100 I never read your first thread and am just getting in now...
If you read my first post then you would understand that Apple wants you to go with one of big 3 carriers they have some thing to do with the financing of phones, starting in August you no longer can finance the phone on apple card with out you having a contract. I want to make schore that if I buy the phone on apple card that GS won't say no Don't want to pay that amount in one shot.
Can't you finance without a major 3 carrier as I have orange highlighted?

Hi today I went to the Apple store to find out I phone 15 pro and ask about Apple financing showed the sale person my Apple medal credit card. I was told that apple has change rules as of August that to get free 24 financing you need to open or have account with 3 big providers carriers. I have Metro PCS not T mobile do not want to open new account I have great plan. I was also told that to open a new account that a hard pull would be done not a soft pull. I do not want any hard pulls just to open a cell phone plan, it loos like I may need to open a new credit card account to get a bonus and 15 months of 0%. Why do I need to have my credit pulled when I allready have Apple gs account and cell plan. How would other handle this what the best way in buying phone I could just pay for phone when bill comes in.
Pay for the phone in full upfront. This is the most straightforward option, but it may not be feasible for everyone.
Open a new credit card account. There are many credit cards that offer introductory 0% APR periods, which can be a good way to finance your new iPhone without incurring interest. However, it is important to note that most credit cards will do a hard pull on your credit when you apply.
Use a third-party financing company. There are a number of companies that offer financing for smartphones and other electronics. Some of these companies may offer soft pulls or no credit checks, but they may also charge higher interest rates.
If you are concerned about your credit score, you may want to consider opening a new credit card account specifically for the purpose of financing your iPhone. You can then pay off the balance in full during the introductory 0% APR period to avoid paying any interest.
Another option is to use a third-party financing company that offers soft pulls or no credit checks. However, it is important to note that these companies may charge higher interest rates. These companies change rules all of sudden just like i buy air purifier and got same issue although i read complete guide about financing on Cares Fresh. Ultimately, the best way to buy your new iPhone is the way that makes the most sense for your individual financial situation. If you are not comfortable opening a new credit card account or using a third-party financing company, you can always pay for the phone in full upfront.
Thank you , but I do not want a lock Iphone to a carrier and ther other plans out with spectrum that are so much better then the 3 big carriers, want the freedom to move around if needed. Yes I have no problem opening a new credit account and getting free intrest for 15 months and 200 dollar bonus also. My scores are all over 810 not going waste a hard pull with carrier just to get a new Iphone and phone plan.
