Citi Checking PLUS CLI SP Possible?

I know this doesn't technically fall into credit cards, but checking plus is a revolver all the same. Has anyone been able to get an increase to their Checking Plus with a SP? Thanks.

Reason for increase is my current limit is $2800, but my monthly mortgage payment that draws from that checking is $3k. I would like to have one full mortgage payment of clearing balance available just in case.

Well thanks to the mod for moving and condemning this question to never be answered. Credit Cards are the closest forum you have for revovling lines. Anyway...

I called and any increase on a Checking Plus line is considered a new application. No ty.

They've always pulled EX for me.
