Hello,
I was told by my financial advisor I needed to get another credit card to have more credit available to me.
I only have two cards. Total line of credit around 2700 dollars.
So, I looked for a pre approval, got pre approved for 3 Amex cards, chose the everyday card. Limit 4000
(this will greatly help me )
My balances are both my cards are zero so the new limit should push me up nicely.
PROBLEM
AMEX doesn't seem to be showing the new line of credit.
What the heck?
I got it for this reason.
I did some research and am reading different opinions.
Some say they only report if you're late???
Some threads say they don't report at all because you can't carry a balance??
OK, I have no clue now.
It's been almost two months. That card should absolutely be showing.
Any info here on this?
Thanks
Amex will report after the second statement.

But I haven't used the card yet. So do I have too? In other words with a zero balance will they report after two months??
Thank you for your answer by the way.
The card will report as soon as the second statement closes whether you use it or not. If you choose not to use it it will report a zero balance. Not using the card means you might be missing out on the opportunity to earn Membership Rewards points; as I recall the signup bonus for the Everyday card is 15,000 Membership Rewards (base value of $150) for $1,000 spending in the first three months.
