You mention you can take advantage of the USAA credit monitoring without being armed forces related, however whenever I click on the link to sign up for it, it asks either for me to join USAA, or to sign in....where are you seeing that you don't have to be a member of USAA?
This is the link that I'm seeing for the credit monitoring, and BTW, $12.95 for daily pulls of all 3 reports is awesome, are there any other sites like that out there?

Yes, that is the page where I joined Credit Monitor Premium. And that is the link where I sign in the get my daily pulls. I believe if you click on that link, (Credit Monitor Premium) it brings you to a page that says memebr sign in OR if not a member yet sign up here...
so is usaa the best service to get to be able to pull scores?

Ignore USAA's scores and advice....they have zero to do with FICO and lenders don't use those scores. However, the report information is good and you can see if items get added, removed, or updated fairly well.
good to know ilecs thanks. I'm not as concerned with my report right now as I am mg score. I have recently seen my report but not my score

As pointed out above, FORGET your scores temporarily whilst you are in credit cleaning mode. It is what is contained in the reports that concerns us. Do what you can in the various ways specified here on myfico to build, rebuild and or repair the information contained in your reports and your scores will folow...
