Gradual Score Increases or BIG jumps?

Just wondering what some of your scores have done over the last year? It's a new year and I wanted to go back and see what mine were a year ago and I was very surprised. I knew it was a lower number but didn't realize the last year proved to be a very good year for me as far as my FICO score.

So what are your increases?

Mine were gradual increases. I did have 2 jumps of 20pts over a 2 month period. Overall I have moved up over 100 points in 1 year time.

Went from a 613 to now a 723. Smiley Happy

Holy cow Timothy, how did you get such a big jump???

Unfortunately, my scores have gone down in the last year, since I boo-booed and closed 2 ccs with balances. But, dh's are going up.

We seem to have random months with a 2-3 point change, then larger 10-30 point jumps. Dh's has gone up 100 points since march or so, with 40 of those points being since Dec 31st.

The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

Re: Gradual Score Increases or BIG jumps?

You will need to seach to get the detail-
34 lates to 5, all CA's gone, several derog TL's gone, UTL to <3%, increased availible credit from 2500 to about 40K., number of account with balances reduced.  The INQ's and time are they only thing that will help EXP for awhile-

Re: Gradual Score Increases or BIG jumps?

I had a few jumps in the beginning but now it's a fight for 1 here and 2 there. I have big dips and rebounds but increases are 1-3 points and slow.

This is the first time I've ever gotten this message from FICO concerning my score....  does this mean there is nothing left to strive for?   I'm at a loss.....  Smiley Wink
                       What’s hurting your FICO® score

Because your FICO® score is exceptionally high, there are no actionable negative factors present with your score. Continue to manage your credit as you currently are doing to maintain your very high FICO® score.

  1. There are no negative reasons significantly affecting your FICO® Score.
