I'm wondering for both open and closed accounts. (Accounts that are closed but with a balance and being managed by a DMP).
Thank you!
Not sure for closed accounts. Open accounts you can usually look at the statement date on your statement. Or credit karma will also tell you which day the account was reported. I have found by cross referencing credit karma, the dates usually match up with my statement dates.
For your accounts it's typically 3 or 5 days from payment when the Statement hits, you can always check previous statements to count the days from Payment and see if they match up, but if this is your first time with this account I would Make your payment and give it 3 days to see if the statment posts, if it does not CLEAR in your activity that is a good sign your statement hasn't and give it a few more days and I would repeat this for the next couple months just to make sure it matches. Some cards will actually give you the closing date so if it says closing on the 23rd a good rule is use the 24th or 25th but I would still double check before spending so you don't spend right before the statement hits or it would do more harm than good ^^ (For Closed Accts I have NO IDEA)
Thank you!
It turns out that CK actually does report the date that closed accounts report.
I went back in and matched them up to what I could deduce from my statements, and I think I have a pretty good idea.
Thanks again!
