Using CreditCheckTotal, I see
Other question: I just paid off a credit card (yeah me!) and the glorious new balance is updated already on EQ & EX but not yet on TU. Any rhyme or reason as to when TU updates or do they do it when they bloody well feel like it? I'm anxious to see it gone, gone, gone.
Many questions!
Thanks to all.
The inquiry from April 2007 may not fall off until the end of the month. It isn't affecting your score right now anyhow.
There should be no inquiry from EX. What does it say?
TU updates at different times, just depends on how slow they are. They were last in updating my accounts this month, but have updated.
TU has finally updated, hoorah.
As for the inquiry, my CreditCheckTotal report shows this under the Experian column when I go to the "Credit Inquiries" tab:
EXPERIAN BUSINESS CREDIT
Credit Bureaus

I'm racking my brain to think what I may have done in Oct '07 - the only thing I can think of is that I opened a business checking account with Chase - for the free $100, don'tcha know . Can't recall if that was in Oct but I can find out and it's the only thing that stands out.
Might that have been it?
Ya, I would say so.
The inquiry is over a year old, I wouldn't worry about it. It'll be gone before ya know it.

Thanks for the encouraging words Sidewinder!
Tell me again, how long is it before the inquiries don't count againt your score anymore? 1 year or 2 years?
