NFCU dropped free EQ FICO 9 for TU VS 3.0?

Title says it all. I searched the forum and either missed a thread on it or there isn't one. 

Anyways,  that's disappointing.

Wow I just checked mine and it switched to Vantage 3.0. That is very disappointing.

Won't be long before you too are assigned to "Mission: Credit Confidence."

Seriously. That's the name they've given to their VantageScore wraparound service. Disappointing on every level. 

Can I decline the mission?

I just noticed that when I log in to NFCU via desktop, they're still showing my EQ FICO score.   Fingers crossed that it will stay but who knows.

NFCU app has definately switched over to VantageScore though.

The switchover started in mid-November. It was briefly discussed here. 

Their initial advertisment was something like "Same thing, new look"... ummm, no... not the same thing.

Anyhow, as mentioned upthread, December still yielded an updated EQ9 score if you log in via the website. Guess we'll see what the new year brings...

Did almost everyone's score go up going from Fico to BS VantageScore? Mine did almost 43 points. Too bad it wasn't real

Nope, no increase for me - FICO is 793, VantageScore3 is 770.   Just goes to show they're not correlateable
