Response from PFD

I sent a PFD letter to a CA for a cable bill from 2006. It basically said Hey I've never heard from you before but I saw this on my CR and I'm not saying this debt is mine, but I'll pay it if you delete from my CR. If you agree, send in writing and if not, provide verification of the debt. etc, etc. I got a response from them on 3-25 dated 3-24 that said pretty much "A xxxxx Collection Specialist recently spoke with you" about the account, and to pay by the "mutually agreed upon date" (which apparently is 3-28) or collection activities will immediately resume. Well, I've never spoken with this company before, and certainly did not establish a "mutually agreed upon" date. So I'm going to send them another letter that says something like Please refer to my previous letter, and if you agree to those terms, send something saying so in writing, or else provide validation of this debt as originally requested. Thoughts?
