What does this have to do with a credit monitoring system?

Re: TrueCredit Users' Accounts Terminated for "Excessive Use?"

Wow! I was begining to take my TrueCredit terminated personally. Now, that I see I'm not the only one this has happen to I feel so much better.Smiley Very Happy  I was terminated two weeks ago.

Here's the message I received:

"You recently contacted our Customer Service department in regard to our notification that your TrueCredit membership and billing was being frozen due to excessive access to your account. As our customer service team communicated, our Compliance Department has reviewed your account in order to see if you qualified for reinstatement.

After a thorough investigation, it is our conclusion that your account should not be reinstated due to an access pattern which indicates potential fraud or a deliberate intent to tamper with the credit scoring system. Your access, billing and all account related email alerts have now permanently been terminated as a result.

While we regret any inconvenience this may cause you, it is our policy to protect the security and integrity of the credit reporting system.

TrueCredit Legal and Compliance Department"

What a joke. Me, tamper with the credit scoring system? Smiley Tongue  I didn't know I had such computer skills to Tamper with my scorning. If that was the case, I would certainly give myself a score of 850 and sell the secrect to my success. Smiley Very Happy

Anyway, I don't miss their crappy reports and scores, and I really don't miss paying for their overpriced services.

Considering their site promises "unlimited access," TC would have a hard time defending itself in court if its users filed a lawsuit.

I feel bad for you guys--getting your accounts terminanted. It seems unfair and maybe even unlawful. I like the services they provide and I hope i can continue monitoring my credit with them because they are one of the most thorough credit reporting services besides myfico. I just got rid of creditsecure with AMEX because it's a waste of $12.

Re: TrueCredit Users' Accounts Terminated for "Excessive Use?"

I just got my "investigation results" email. Permanently canceled. Not a shock at this point

But now I can't log in to my Chase account either. I guess TU is blocking that too. My access was fine until I got the notification from TrueCredit.
