Question, what counts as "qualifying electronic deposits"?  Does this have to be a direct deposit from an employer or can I just transfer $1000 from Chase to Wells?

Edit, found my answer.  I should have just read a little further.  Must be an income payment.  

• A qualifying electronic deposit is a deposit of funds, such as your salary, government benefit payment, or other income, that has posted to your account and is (1) a direct deposit made through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network, (2) an instant payment processed through the RTP® network (real-time payment system) or FedNow℠ Service, or (3) an electronic credit from a third party service that facilitates payments to your debit card using the Visa® or Mastercard® network (e.g. an Original Credit Transaction). Transfers from one account to another, mobile deposits, Zelle®, or deposits made at a branch or ATM are not considered a qualifying electronic deposit.

@CreditCuriosity Can you close the WF checking account online or do you have to do it in person or over the phone? I'm still trying to decide between WF, PNC, or Chase as I am leaving BofA after over a decade (no 2 day early DD). I don't care about the bonus all 3 of them have one right now anyways, I just want to easily be able to shut it down if I don't like the FI for i.e. their app, their ACH push times or their 2 day early DD actual time.

Not online either in branch or call. I just called them told them i wanted to close it and asked why and said won't do business with a bank that wont offer CC despite i have 800+ scores and need my money back and that was that and got check within a weekish time frame.

@AndySoCal Thank you. Discover doesn't like me very well must be because I can't prequalify for their secured credit card. I have 3 small baddies from 5 years ago, no BK. I'm unsure of how they'd like me for banking. ChexSystems is clean.
