Am I wrong to want a Card because it's Pretty?!

In the end my view is while aesthetics has its place, for making good financial decisions, credit card looks probably isn't such a place!   Maybe put your cards in a mobile wallet, and (I hope) you have less attachment to the image!

Of course, there are other reasons for getting the card, belief it will impress or it's so cute it makes you happy.  But just be aware that this may steer you away from the card that makes the most sense for you....

A good example was the Fidelity Amex.   At the time, it stood more or less alone as a 2% everywhere card, but some here were so put off by its appearance, a really, um, interesting shade of  green, that they declined to get it.  (One usually reliable person said he would ashamed to pull it out to pay for a business lunch)

Every team has a card and I think there's 2 NFL cards, a shield and something else.

Funny, I like the metal cards. I have the WF Propel and the Amex/Amazon Prime and they are both metal and I think they look pretty cool.
