I recently removed myself from my wife's Cap1 QS1, and she from my QS. I then had to file disputes with EX and TU to get them to stop reporting. EQ removed us automatically. TU resolved the dispute within 1 day, quickly deleting the tradeline. EX took about 3 weeks.
You may notice a dip in scores for a month but you're doing the right thing, and creating better ceiling for yourself. Good luck to you.
