Hello Fico community. I started my credit journey in December with a card from Discover. It now has 1K limit. I also got two more cards this month to help them age together. Cap one journey 300 and BOFA cash rewards 500. I also have a CB loan ( current balance 506/550 reported). My first and current scores are EQ 704, TU 709 and EX 742. The CB loan has not reported on EX yet which im sure it will drop down. So im a junoir in college majoring in Finance. I have started to apply for some co ops and interships for next year. Im a canidate for a co op/ intern with muliple banks and other credit palces as a credit analyst. Some applications are due by Sempember 1st. Some of them require/ want at least 740 across the board to be considered. I meet all the other things. So is it possible to get all above 740 by then? Ik my inquires are hurting it and the CB loan. My CAP one and BOFA cards have not been reported. So does anyone think I can make it there? Some of these can open wide doors when I graduate in 2019 and I hate to risk loosing the opportunity. Any advice is welcome and thank you.

Think the short time period might be too low to hit 740 on FICO 8 across the board but you're not dead yet and you might get really close on TU/EQ just based on anecdotal reports anyway, especially if they pull EX; can't fault your moves though, all good choices... guess this highlights the need to build credit as soon as one turns 18.
Pay the CB loan down to something under $49 but not off, and make certain you have a small balance ($5 is fine, not smaller just in case a lender rounds that to zero on the statement) on one of your cards and $0 on the other two and hope for the best unfortunately. Can't predict what score they're going to use anyway but that's optimal on all FICO algorithms and will be fine on Vantage too if they use that.
Hopefully it all comes together, I'm also intensely curious as to what your score does over the next couple months as 3 revolvers + 1 paid down installment loan is what I recommend to anyone starting: if you're tracking it as a thin/new file and I suspect you will be for this haha, please share the data .
Revelate, do you think if they were added as an authorized user on a relative's zero balance, long standing bank CC it might help bounce the scores?

Quite possibly if it's not an Amex, may not though but it'd be easy enough to test if he has parents or similar willing. Impossible to state whether it will count FICO 8, would certainly help older scores though if it's pristine and $0 balance and non-trivially long (call it 8+ years at a minimum to goose AAOA to 2 years).
That's a good suggestion DL.

How do you find these co-ops and internships. I've been looking all over for them.
