Need help on what I should do for my next step in my rebuilding process!

I'm fairly new on here but really want to increase my credit scores.
My transunion is a 616
And Equifax at 608
According to CK
I have a total Credit Limit of $3,500
Opensky $500 opened 1 year and 3 months
$0 balance
Kay jewelers $3,000 opened 3 months ago
$2,000 balance
9 months total credit history
5 hard inquires but all will be removed this year
CK states I have "excellent approval odds" for the Capital One platinum credit card. Is it worth the risk for me to apply or wait longer?
What do you reccomend to do next?

Welcome to the forums.

I recommend you get your actual FICO scores and not rely on credit karma. Those are vantage scores and most lenders do not use those scores.

Also "CKs recommendation" are just that, they get paid for advertising.

What negatives do you have on your reports? I would definately get that Kay account utlization down.

So CK is almost like false advertising..
I plan to get my FICO scores through creditchecktotal.com soon. I actually have no negatives on my account I just got a derogatory mark removed from my account 2 months ago. I just have these statistics
Total utilization is 70% of $3500 total balance due to the kay jewelers because that was the most recent account opened. (3/19)
Total age history is about 9 months
5 hard inquires as on rn which will all be removed this year. I was thinking to apply for a new card to get a higher balance which will help the utilization lower. Is that a good move I should wait to be applying?

I would get your scores to see where you stand, it's hard to say until you know what your scores are.

You can also go to discoverscorecard and get your free FICO there, you don't have to have an account.

Is it free to check scores on there?

Nvmd I was able to get on the website.
I will input my information now , and it says it will not harm my scores at all correct? Just to verify from an actual customer
