So I took a drop across the board on TU today.
FICO 08 743->739
FICO 04 713->711
FICO AUTO 8 764->758
FICO AUTO 4 733->731
FICO BANKCARD 8 758->754
FICO BANKCARD 4 719->717
Not a big drop, but a psychological drop as my TU dropped below 740 and the pretty green circle turned to yellow.
I am not worried about a couple of points, but I wish I could see the causality.
I'm confused as there is absolutely no change at all in my report since my 3B pull on 6/28.
I pulled TU today to see what they heck might be going on and no change in anything in the report.
Under FICO Score Ingredients "Amount of New Credit" went from Green "Very Good" to Yellow "Good"
I have gone over the reports with a fine tooth comb and there is no difference at all in the reports.
Any idea what may have created this change?
Is it possible that inquiries don't hit for 30 days? That's what I am starting to think from reading about "Amount of New Credit" Ingredient.
Went from 2 -> 3 inquiries on 6/6/15.
I have a 6/6/15 HP (that I was told would be an SP).

Depends how it's coded; there are some grace periods for different types of inquiries mostly related to rate shopping.
In my case I recently took a drop 30 days after starting the mortgage process... fortunately didn't kick my mid score down a tier.

What were your TU scores on June 10? on May 10? on April 10?
Didn't pull reports, but from the graph for TU 08
about the following dates
April 10 737
April 21 utilization taken to 8% from 13% score up to 743
May 10 743
June 6 HP inquiry coded "miscellaneous and public reporting"
June 10 743
June 28 743
These score instances are from MyFICO, or from TransUnion directly?
myFICO... They are TU08 scores as noted above.
Did that INQ lead to a card being added to your reporting?
How many cards have you got, and what kind of aging on those?
No, it wasn't for a card, should have been a soft but transunion/TURSS won't budge on fixing it as puller made a mistake..
Only 3 cards all 8-9 years old
oldest account 18 years, AAoA 8 years

It is wierd. I wonder if Revelate's comment applies. Since this may have been coded as a non-creditcard INQ, the score hit waits 30 days to allow all the related potential similarly non-CC coded INQ to accumulate, whether they do or not, and then a few days ago "Times Up!" and the score hit results.
Other than that, it's gremlins, and no one likes gremlins.
Thanks, it's good to know I'm not the only one that finds it strange.
I have an inquiry that will fall off first week in September, if the 4 points return, I think we'll know it was the inquiry.
