Re: Oldest account hits 3 yrs scores drops up to 22 points

@Anonymous     That I am unsure I believe 2 years will hit December since my Chase/AMEX I got at the same time Dec 2018 so I would assume they would be the 'oldest', how would I confirm that?!

@Anonymous    But yes my oldest 'reporting' was a Loan which was the Car that was the only difference I was able to confirm it went from 2 years 11 months to 3 years and I took the hit the other information on my report when I was bouncing between them didn't move or budge.

@Anonymous     Although I do have a 6 year old Aaron's account (03/2014) that reports to my TU and EQ, but it doesn't report to EX or show up on EX for some reason so that is why I ruled that out.   ^^

@Girlzilla88 very cool. If the oldest revolving accounts on your EX CR are December 2018, then I am very eager to see what you get December 1!! (@Anonymous lookie!!)

Hopefully you will not have any other changes going on then that could conflate the data point?

This is actually very important and something we have been wanting and needing to test, but we have not had someone willing and able in a hopefully perfect situation like you are!

yeah, you will not see it on TU or EQ because of that six year old revolver. To be honest, we don't even know for sure it's a threshold, but I've got a very big hunch that it is!

We know two profiles that start out at the same time but one with a loan and the other with a revolver, couple years later, the one that started with a revolver will have a higher score, all other things remaining constant, I believe.

so I really hope you have nothing else going on around December 1 and now I need to know what scorecard you're on please LOL!

@Anonymous     The only thing that may alter it is I did get my DISCO IT card approved this month so it may or may not be reporting come Dec?!        But I will definitely keep you guys posted if it helps Smiley Happy

Re: Oldest account hits 3 yrs scores drops up to 22 points

@Girlzilla88 All you’ve got to do is go to Experian and filter TLs by age and then look at the oldest revolver to make sure they are your oldest revolver. Does the Experian simulator show you getting any points in a month?

Yes I remember your recent scorecard assignment going from young to mature. You do have a clean file right? So how many revolvers do you have and what is the age of your youngest revolver please?

@Anonymous      Also my Ga's Own CC I just noticed it says it was opened March 21st of 2018 but both my AMEX and CHASE VISA were Dec 12th 2018.       I hope this helps?!

@Anonymous     I'm not sure I know what you mean by getting any points in a month, but when I went to Print Report and yes Clean File I have (as of today) a 1 year 9 month Average Account Age, and 3 year Oldest Account Age 11 open accounts with 4 installments, 1 Real Estate, 1 Retail and 5 CC although 6 show up on the Revolving Top part of it Smiley Very Happy

Re: Oldest account hits 3 yrs scores drops up to 22 points

@Anonymous     If I click on Score Simulator and don't change anything just leave it at the make regular payments of 423 there is a 5 point jump at 1 month and at 2 months it's a 15 point gain to 675 so 10 more points at the 2 month mark.     Sorry it took a second to click what you were referring to, but did you mean with nothing checked or a specific one checked?!
