Hi all- I came through a ch. 7 in April of 2012. At the time, my scores were in the 530 range. In June, 2012, I was approved for Cap. One with a C.L. of 2000. As part of their credit steps program, I was increased to 2500 in December, 2012. About a month ago, I was approved for a 2nd Cap. One card, but with a much smaller 500 limit. My scores are now in the 650-680 range. I also have had a car loan since October 2012 (not Cap. One). All of my payments have been on time, and my utilization has generally been low, although I had a recent emergency which forced me to make a 2300 purchase against my 2500 limit. I will pay that down in the next week or so though.
So my questions are: 1) Would sending an email to the Cap One EO be a good idea for me? 2) If so, what should I ask for? and 3) What would be a good reason for me asking for the CLI?
