@Boragard Most users in this thread have shared that it's missing for them; it's missing for me too. But the link (located on pg. 1 and multiple times in the thread) worked perfectly for me to access that page. There doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason for it being removed.
I am very greatful of this community. The link for the increase on my account vanished once again. But, I was able to get it done 3X the limit using the link in this thread. Yeah !
Here's to another thanks for the credit line increase link on the forums!
Got my first CLI on my first card from Amex my BCE was approved for an increase after review the dreaded 7-10 day message. Amex called me the very next day asking if it was me that asked for it and did I still want it. YES! I have a fraud alert on my credit reports so I should be use to the fact that I'll never get an immediate approval for anything g the new few years, unless I take the fraud alert and kick it to the curb.
Anyways, my baby steps $1k BCE was approved for a 3X CLI taking it to $3000.
My Ex Fico score on the Amex app was 740.
My TU Vantage score, on the Amex app was 718.
I had my last derog fall off June 1st, it was only on my TU report all other reports clean. But, Amex pulled my Ex and TU to approve me. I think this falling off helped, also waiting for the scores to update on the app then waiting a month also helped.
Thank you all here at MyFico, you've really helped me grow!
Hi everyone. Does anyone know why I wouldn't have a section to request a credit line increase anywhere on my account screen for my account?
This Friday will be the 91 day mark for me, I'm going to check again. If it's still not available I will check on the 15th Around the 100 day mark to try again.
I guess I'm a datapoint for still being able to request at the 61 day mark.
I opened a Delta Platinum on 5/29 and just passed my 61 days. Starting limit was $10,900, but I used the link at the beginning of the thread yesterday asking for $25,000 and was approved. I didn't want to risk asking for anything higher and it is a nice round number lol

At $10.9k SL, you could've gone up to $30k and probably still gotten approved (and still gotten a "nice, round number").

Possibly, but I didn't want to take any chances. It is my first revolver with Amex and I've read requesting over $25,000 on an individual card could prompt the review.

If you mean you're scared of a Financial Review, that's not what would happen. People often conflate FR with income verification. FR is when you're doing some shady spending/spending outside your usual patterns/limits. THAT triggers a FR, which is where your accounts are locked down until Amex investigates your account/finances and they're satisfied. This can sometimes lead to an account closure. An FR is also NOT optional.
I'm assuming you're referring to the old "anything over $35k" thing, which would merely be income verification. All that entails is providing some bank statements or allowing them one-time access to your bank account. IV IS optional and if you choose to not provide either, the request will simply be denied and nothing else happens. Also, it's not always the case that going up to and over $35k will trigger the IV. @Remedios can attest to this.
