Re: Balance transfer fee?

I forgot to add, Slate is subject to 5/24 restriction and not famous for good SL.

I guess it all depends on how much you're looking to transfer or if you have other chase cards to move limits from.

Re: Balance transfer fee?

Does Slate have an AF?
I'm only looking to transfer 700 but I don't even want to pay any transfer fee. Plus I would like it to be a low ongoing rate for when I have emergencies in the future. I have no Chase cards though. Do they have good cards

Re: Balance transfer fee?

$0 AF / low limit usually

For the long term I would scour the forum for low apr CU card options.  There was a thread recently for some under 10% APR's.  I have one that's 6.9% w/ no fees attached to it.

Chase has a ton of offerings ranging from Slate that is barebones and CSR that's one of the top travel cards.  Depends on what you're interested in but, they have a card for eveybody.

Re: Balance transfer fee?

The chase slate often has BT promotions after the original promotion runs out. However, all those promotions have a 3 or 5% fee. Other than that, APR can be pretty high.

If you want something with a low apr after the promo, a CU card is your best bet.

Slate does not have a BT fee. Chase is not famous for low apr, unless your profile is stellar and even then, I think lowest is around 17.XX.

Some of their cards are good, others underwhelimg. https://creditcards.chase.com/all-credit-cards?iCELL=61FY&jp_ltg=chsecate_allcards

If you're looking for ongoing  low apr card, CUs are your best bet
