Dining/Restaurant/Movies credit card recommendation

Hello I spend a lot of money on Dining/Restaurant/Movies, Im looking for those categories a cash back credit card of at least 3%, I found Sync Marvel CC, the bad news for me is that CapitalOne Savour and Barclays Uber Visa dont take applicants that live in Puerto Rico, and I dont know if I should apply for the Marvel CC since I have the Paypal MC ($4,500) and Amazon Store CC ($1,200) from Sync and I dont want the famous blue envelope. Which other CC your guys recommend?

Capital One Savor or Savor One should fit. Savor is 4% for dining and entertainment. Savor One is 3%.

If you’ve had those other Synch cards for awhile, I think you’d be okay opening the Marvel. (Didn’t know that was Synch actually lol). There are many reports of people having tons of Synch cards with no AA

Discover It: 26.5k
Amex Cash Magnet: 24.4k
Fidelity Visa: 21.5k
Apple Card: 13k

Rem,

We seem to have plenty of that lately.  I wonder what % of people actually read the posts before replying...lol.

It happens, lol.

OP, I dont think blue envelope is happening in your case.
Marvel card has a bit stricter UW standards, and without additional DPs from you, it's impossible to guess.

Good luck if you decide to apply.

Re: Dining/Restaurant/Movies credit card recommendation

I'm going to leech of this thread. Are there other options out there besides Synch and Cap1? I don't like Cap 1 because after 5 years they refused to unsecure my card. And Synch reduced my Tex card by 7K (they brought it back up to 10K shortly after but still left me with a bad taste).

So are there other options out there? I have Amex BCE, Chase F and F U to cover lots of my spend but dining is probably my next uncovered spend.

Active Cards: Chevron Texaco, Amex BCE, Barclays Ring, Chase Freedom, Chase Freedom Unlimited, Best Buy Visa, Marvel MCMust garden until 2/1/2022 to hit my goal AAOA. Smiley Indifferent

Re: Dining/Restaurant/Movies credit card recommendation

You have BBVA Clear Points if you're in the foot print 3%. US bank Cash plus either 2% or 5%. Your choice.
WF Propel Amex 3%. Unfortunately Amex not accepted at all restaurants.
Commerce bank 3% restaurant/ fast food.
The Marvel is a good card. Pretty cut in dry no hoops to jump through. 3% automatic credit.

I have all of these cards. If I had only one choice. It would be the US bank Cash Plus.

For dining? Uber Visa.   Slim pickings other than Synchrony and Capital One if looking for a card that covers a broad range of entertainment options.

Re: Dining/Restaurant/Movies credit card recommendation

All the ones Gmood mentined pretty much cover it. The only one I can think of is Bank of America Cash Rewards. It just launched their "Choose your 3% category" and Dining is one of them. It's very broad too.

I've been messing with it the last month and its coded dining for Fast Food, Restaurants, Bars, Bakeries, Coffee Shops, Bitesquad, Grubhub and even the vending machines at my office lol I haven't found anywhere it didn't work at. I had the Marvel card and managed to get it up to $25k so limits can go pretty deep with those soft pull calls to credit solutions.
