Re: Discover... Sigh

Discover has pulled each report at one given time or another.
If it's not the bj it's inq on ex
If it's not the Bo and inq its to much credit on tu
Different reasons but still denied!!

Re: Discover... Sigh

Sounds like they're just giving excuses.  I think they just personally don't like you, LOL Smiley Tongue

Re: Discover... Sigh

That's so funny, I was starting to wonder if that was the real reason you were denied.. lol. But in all seriousness, that does really suck (no pun intended); it does seem like there is just something in your profile they don't like, so they're using any excuse they can to deny you.

Re: Discover... Sigh

i also was denied for discover a while bank when my bankrupcty was dismissed. A discharged bankr means you followed the rules and paid it off. A dismissed bankr means u renigged on the rules. A discharge stays on report 7 years and a dismissed stays on 10 years. I called eq early and I got a rep that really didnt know the difference between discharge and dismissed and he delted my early.

Re: Discover... Sigh

No actually EQ is the only one that says chapter 13 dismissed stays for 10 years instead of 7!
And it's not a law or anything.
EX and TU deleted instantly at 7 years.
And in fact I paid my creditors after dismissing vs discharged, so I get the concept that if you leave no that you didn't finish the agreed upon but my credit report showed I didn't finish the bj but I did pay those who asked to be paid so I got double Sammy but that's pretty standard with banking regulations in the United States, they have the money to get the better outcome... I pay them but still have to keep the negative record.
They get to write off the debt for taxes and profit and loss and the. Still collect and still keep my credit down!

Re: Discover... Sigh

I admit my mistakes fully but I also think that once the debt is paid everyone should be washed of it not just the creditor!
You don't get my money and bring my credit down for 7 years!

Thank you for clarifying. I'm not familiar with bankruptcy, so I thought "dismissed" meant something totally different. I get it now.
