It did take me just a few days short of 3 weeks to receive Venture and Quicksilver Signature Visa. I was an existing Capital One cardholder also. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the info H! I just received an email saying that one of my cards is on its way. Hopefully it won't take too long.
Hi CFC, do you remember how long it took from the time they emailed you that it was on its way? I just got that email for one of the cards, and I'm wondering if it'll still be awhile or not.
Cards arrived about 11 days after e-mail for me - may vary for others. It also took me a little while to receive the e-mail from the time I was approved.
11 days! Good God what they put on the envelope a penny stamp?! Geez! I'm sorry but that's just absurd!

I thought it was pretty long, also. Hard to say if they actually mailed it the same day they sent the e-mail. Your experience may vary.
I suspect they waited a few days to mail it after sending the e-mail. Maybe they mail things out in batches or groups.
Barclay's and Citi, on the other hand, arrived very quickly. Quite a contrast.
Yeah Barclays was fast, but my Discover was lightning fast. A couple of days after an instant approval, I received an email on the 5th (Saturday) saying that my card was on the way. I received it on Tuesday the 8th. It arrived that fast even WITH the Holiday!

That's about the norm in some cases for Capital One. When I was approved for both QS/Venture, subsequently received the emails, card arrived within a week or so. Not sure how that is absurd? Some cards arrive faster than others *shrug*
