Like the other posters mentioned that since you already took a 3 pull hit your should contact EO for a recon. Be prepared to answer questions regarding your credit report, specifically the collections.
I also recommend the following:
- Look into a secured card. State Department Federal Credit Union has a great secured card that does not pull credit. They have a great APR and virtually no fees. ou may also want to look into credit unions in your area.
- I would stay away from First Premier and Credit One.
- Focus on getting rid of your collections. This is the best course of action in the long run.
Good luck and keep us posted.
I want to thank everyone for their help! I sent EO an email and got a phone call back from a very nice lady today. She asked me a few questions and said give me 24 hours to see what limit I can get you approved for!!!! Ahhh I wanted to jump for joy just to even hear they were going to reconsider the denial... Hopefully all of this is for an approval!! Thanks everyone for helping me even get to this point!! I can't wait till a year from now and I can post how I just got approved for my first house. 😃
Really Happy for you!
Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Be sure to come back and tell us the final outcome.
Definitely will do! As soon as they call me, I will 've on here posting!!!

I think it may be in your best interest to wait until your first round of disbutes are resolved. Then re-evaluate your credit profile and go from there. It may be a good idea to spend some time reading and reviewing the Rebuilding thread while you wait on responses. Are the medical bills the only negatives or collections on your credit report? I know you mentioned a PIF Care Credit account. What else is on it?
@Anonymous wrote:1-work on removing collection and pay for deletion if necessary
2-Try Credit One and First Premier
3-Start with small secured card
4-Use a smal amount and pay in full and wait 6 months-1 year
5-Monitor Credit and score when you get above 640 then you can re-apply
Please do not app for a First Premier or Credit One account. If you have to apply for a secured credit card.

I'd suggest getting a secured card first, that's how I started re-building my credit.
