Wait... I really went into Navy blind. You can app for another card with the same pull?

The likelihood of that with NFCU is about zero. They've not been known to use the same even minutes apart. Not even for a new card and CLI app 5 minutes apart. Sometimes you can get a SP CLI but that isn't even a given.

Navy is pull happy. So take that into consideration. Not knowing the details of your denial, assuming that you didn't meet the requirements of the Flagship, send them a secure message and make your reconsideration request.
K your obviously the exception not the rule lol. Everyone can't be a boss like you. And I mean that in a very positive manner. I mean just look at your collection of premium cards that says it all.
With his score and data it was inevitable he was going to get the denial for the FS right out of the gate. he should have done his homework cause god knows there's plenty of data on NFCU.
i wish the young lad good luck with his NFCU journey. Start out slow and it will pick up steam for sure.
@Anonymous wrote:Thrown overboard! I got a denial. I'm gonna try to do some recon and see where that gets me. Sent an SM since I hear some have had success that way. If that fails, I will try a call later after I get the mail with reasoning.
Chase has prepared me for rejection and I made them love me. I can do the same with NFCU!
I suspected that would be the case. NFCU generally doesn't like giving the Flagship to brand new members. I bet you would any of the others though.

Not likely. UW may do it if they say you were declined for not meeting the requirements for the minimum credit limit on the Flagship but it's extremely rare this works. Most have to cold app another card (the other cards all have the same UW, Flagship is tougher because of the $5K minimum SL).

I did mention something about not apping for the flagship as a first card right?

After being denied for the Flagship (only qualified for $4,800), the CSR with whom I SM'd with told me they'd use the same HP if I apply for a different card. They did not pull another HP, and I was insta-approved for the GoRewards. YMMV though...
