@itguy_65 wrote:WOW, this forum is AWESOME!! I just called Barclays, got a CSR asked if there were any offers on my account and was transferred to a Specialist. They lowered my APR from 13.99 to 9.99, and a SP CLI from $10K to $14K! Very nice!! And the account is only 8 months old!!!
You're welcome! I'm so happy people are finding this useful. What card is that if you don't mind my asking? 14K is very nice! Hope I get there with my Barclay some day!
At the time I got the APR lowered and PC to the Rewards Visa....no other offers were identified by CSR.
Looks like the account is not eligible for an SP CLI.
I will not waste a HP....like I did in August. I found the forum after my August HP CLI......

Definately do not waste a HP, simply wait for another one of these offers to show up.
Just called Barclays again and they gave me 3 offers.
0% APR thru 12/1/15
SP CLI from $3,500 --> $5,000
Lowered APR from 18.99 --> 17.99
I'm very happy I called again.

Glad you didn't give up!! I wonder if it's because you are closer to the 6 month-mark now. Either way, CONGRATULATIONS!
@Anonymous wrote:Unfortunately, called the provided number and received nothing...no APR reduction...no SP CLI. My 11th statement was just cut and I have had 0 auto-CLIs
One more month and the promotional APR goes away (I have never carried a balance past the due date so this is inconsequential) and I am about to get hit with the AF.
Other data points for reference
Card: Arrival+ WEMC
Starting limit (and current limit): $7500
APR (after promo expires): 21.99% (The analyst commented that this was the best rate they offer......which sounds ridiculous)
Amount spent on card per month: ~$2000-$2500
I called again this morning and was still denied ("not qualified") an APR reduction and/or a SP CLI. My 1 year of ownership comes in the April so I will try again after that statement cuts.

Just around the corner, good luck trying but never stop! But I guess don't do it every day either.
Approved for Arrival in July 2013 at 5K.
January 2014 auto CLI (via SP) to 8K.
July 2014 auto CLI (via SP) to 12K.
I am not clear as to why one would think these are rare occurences. I have read more about auto increases than not.
My formula has been heavy use, large payments, carry a balance during 0% promos and PIF when not at 0%.
I like Barclays and Barclays likes me.
P.S. Have you referenced the older thread: Barclays: Let's put our heads together?

Well what we're referring to here isn't really auto-CLI's, we're referring to customer-triggered soft-pull CLI's. Read the thread but not referenced it here.
Thank you for your suggestions
