I called 24/7 analyst number. 866-951-1437

Called this number as well and received the HP is required to do a CLI - I didn't even have the opportunity to provide them with my account information.  So not working out so well for me.

I called the analyst with BC this morning and bounced me around a few other reps.  Got interest lowered by 4 points in one card and 1 point in the other with a 0% promotion for the remainder of 2015.

Whend asked about SP CLI, they transferred me and the rep said that the last SP was more than 30 days ago and he couldn't use that one anymore.  I just checked and indeed they SP EX on 2/10.... GRRRRRRR  I declined the offer to HP.  I'm 34 days away from the 6 month Auto CLI anyway.

My 6th month statement generated today.  Does the lender initiated cli appear on the 7th statment or the 6th - if initiated at all.

What number are you guys calling for the SP CLI?  I just called the number listed on my account website for the SallieMae and was infomed that due to the FCRA that a HP would be required.  I know this is absurd information, but wanted to verify the best method to get around their first line of defense.

Back of card for me... insert info then 0 to talk with someone... I then ask if any offer avail the list the standard script ones you can see on your site of BT's once they are done with their spill say actually what I meant is can I get a lower Apr%... They will then transfer you and the next specialist will say I hear you want a lower apr and you say yes of course... They will check and say yes or no then you proceede to the real question do I by chance have a SP CLI available and they will say yes or no and they said in my case I did have a SPL CLI and asked my income and done Smiley Happy..  Best of luck!

Re: Woot SM - SP CLI

Call #3 yielded more nonsense and they would NOT transfer to retentions.

I don't think I was transferred to retentions, just a specialist that was very much in the states...  Wonder why there is so much YMMV type of stuff w/regards to this?  When was your last SP on their site Nixon?  Within 30 days?  Mine was yesterday so I was pretty sure I was golden and about to hit 7 months so even thought I was more golden as that is usually when eligable for a CLI(With your frist account w/them)...  Just my takes on it..  Deffinetly a helpful thread as we are learning more and more data points w/regards to barclay's that haven't been explored before

Since my 6 month statement just cut today, I will wait until the 7th statement cuts before proceeding.  I only put about 300 dollars a month spend on this card and I don't even carry it on me.  My wife uses it until the anoying cap is hit for groceries and I use it for amazon purchases (stored).  She has been complaining about having to switch cards after two weeks, so as soon as I can PC from BCE to BCP this card will only be used for amazon purchases.  Initital CL was 5k, and it is my lowest limit card.

Then again I might try again tomorrow.. So far two denials.  One CSR stated FCRA requires HP (biggest load I have ever heard) and the analyst (w/out pulling up account) told me a HP would be required.

Re: The BarclayCard CLI Soft Pull thread

Called them after I saw this thread. No, no lower apr. No, no soft cli. But hey, I have a promotional 0% apr. I will definitely take it.
