Haha. Can't wait for the new episode tonight.
If this is something you can purchase from amazon, have you considered Amazon store card?
I've thought about opening a Best Buy care.
UW standards wise, you probably have a better shot at Anazon store card
Synchrony loves low income earners so I agree on the Amazon Store Card.
Citi is... not so generous.
The only trouble with the Amazon Store Card----interest is through the effin roof!
When I was in Max-Out Purgatory, the Amazon Store Card had the highest minimum payment! I had about a $4,000 balance, and had a higher minimum payment than the card (Barclay's Upromise), where I had an $8,800 balance.
Make sure you pay your balances every month on this card.
@Anonymous wrote:What gives? I have a great or seemingly great score in 740 fico. Experian. I applied for the Apple Card. And was denied for income? How do they know I work or don't? Uh can't they tell I have a good score and work my butt off?
anyway. What should I do dear friends.
I have a constant good score and yet my denials rain down like fire. Scores really dont matter that much imo more so your income, overall profile etc. Lol ive been denied Pendread with a fico9 of 810 at one point. Sometimes its for the best imo cuz if they dont trust your score why trust them?
In my opinion, it's the income----for the most part.
If I had your income, I would get the same denials...and I have over-800 scores in many FICO versions.
Lenders weigh two sides of an applicant when they apply for credit:
1. likelihood of repaying debt (as judged by your credit reports/scores/credit history)
2. Ability to repay debt (as judged by your income)
You can pass one of these two "tests", but if you don't pass both, credit may be denied.
In your instance, in this case, you might pass the likelihood to repay test. You did not pass their ability to repay test, however.
+1 on the Amazon card
