Citi DC APR reduction: 25.74% --> 16.49%

Persistence lol congrats! That’s a huge reduction. I got lucky with my DC. For some strange reason Citi gave me the lowest APR they offer right from the start.

It can go lower than 15.xx APR, that is their advertised rate.  People on this forum have sub 10%.  I believe @FinStar has sub 10%.  What is advertised and what one can get are two different things.  I believe PC's obviously can accomplish this a bit easier with a very old card which might be the case with him and others, but I will let them ring in

It definitely sounds like they can go lower than 15.74%.  Those that have sub-15.74% APRs it would be great to hear from you and possibly any details as to how you arrived at that [relatively] low rate.

Yes please, are these old cards that the APR was locked in and transferred over or do you have other methods up your sleeves?
