I am in ZIP 3#### so good there but me be definitely passing on a HP for $500.
My application was not an HP. That's unfortunate that it seems to be now. I asked their support email if it would be an HP in the future and report to CRAs and they said they didn't know and would get back to me. I'm still waiting to hear back on that.

No issues signing up and setting up 2 MC and 1 Discover cards. Have not used it yet.
Well rats, I was hoping the disclaimer on the HP was just a 'CYA' sorta thing.
As far as I know, you're our first report of them doing a HP.

Yeah, had others not been reporting that it was only a SP I would have passed for sure.
It's a neat concept (or at least it will be once the glitches are ironed out) but definitely not worth a HP to me.
I don't know if I just got lucky or the SP approvals are going to be hit-or-miss now. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I applied 7/1 and also a Hard Pull on Equifax. Hope it doesn't show up as a line of credit although who knows. Definitely was expecting a soft pull from prior DP's. Probably not worth it for sure especially with lack of Visa CC support.
Tried first transaction via Google Pay at a Dunkin Donuts to charge on Discover for the 5% restaurants category - and it denied it. Ended up using Discover directly. Not a good start.

Sorry if I missed this. Why Google Pay? Is the Curve card not a physical card?

You can use the Curve card with a temporary number that can be added to digital wallets before your physical card arrives. However, once your physical card comes, you need to delete the Curve card from digital wallets and re add it using the final number on the physical Curve card (and that also then shows in the app).
To answer your question @NoMoreE46 , my Curve approval was a SP but, from later posts, it seems that it might now be an HP for everyone. I don't really know at this point. I did not get an HP and my $500 "Curve Credit" has not reported to a CRA as of yet. I hope "Curve Credit" does not ever report but only time will tell on that one. I'm my experience, new cards (like the Apple Card when it first came out) put out by companies new to credit cards sometimes take a while to report. This also happened with my X1 Card. The X1 Card only started reporting a good six months after my approval.
Thanks for your reply @Alephbet.
Hopefully your SP sticks.
And yea, I have been seeing Approvals but thru HP.
I won't be apping now.
