Re: How Reliable Is CreditCards.com's CC PreScreen Offers?

I just tried it myself without entering in my SS# and it has given me a bunch of CAP1 and FIRST PREMIER cards which I have no interest in....

I see that someone mentioned that the results will be the same without putting my SS#; is that true for anyone else?

I just answered my own question by having my wife try the site out. It gave her better results, which I expected.

Re: How Reliable Is CreditCards.com's CC PreScreen Offers?

Just curious, has anyone been offered chase cards through it? Because I have only seen Amex, cap one, and some others but no chase.

Last App: 09/17/2013 // No App Until: Mortgage (05/14?)

Cards in my wallet: AMEX BCE ($8000) // CITI AA VISA SIG ($5000) // CHASE FREEDOM ($3500) // DISCOVER IT ($1000) // CAP ONE NC ($1000) // WALMART DISCOVER ($1600)
Credit Scores: FICO TU08 (10/13): 739 // Credit Karma (10/13): 677??!! // Credit Sesame (10/13): 730
Next Goal: CSP (after mortgage probably...)

I have never seen any cards other than Amex, Capital One, and crappy subprime cards.

I have no clue, but I'd hazzard a guess that kickbacks are involved in the offerings.  Not a bad thing if terms are better apping, or in my case LOL, drapping.
