You can absolutely get cash and not a credit. I do it every month and transfer to my savings with same bank. Can also transfer to checking with different bank.

Really?   I only see the options for statement credit or transfer to US Bank account.

+1.  I have no US Bank checking or savings products, so my sole option is statement credit.

@Anonymous you have checking account with them

Move it there, Zelle it to your other account, unless you dont mind statement credits

You know how much they love Zelle. I'm only getting three emails per day letting me know how great it is 😐

Re: US Bank Cash+

Have you tried another way to submit payment so it is categorized correctly?
If using phone, try website or app. Try each way and see if one will get that 5%.
I had to do this with my water bill which is only $20 a month but I’ll squeeze every penny where I can.

I don't recall ever paying any bills via phone.   I just went straight from mailing checks to paying online via ACH or automatic billing to credit cards about 20 years ago.  FIOS has been set to autopay via CC since they finally came into the city of Boston about 2 years ago (reason was politics, so not touching that one here; suburbs have had it for ages), so maybe it's just the autopay processor that's coding as "calls placed through magnetic stripe reading telephones."  I moved the billing to Chase Freedom and should know in a day or two whether that triggered the 5x category (VZ Wireless is listed in Chase's list for this quarter, but FIOS is not - similarly, a previous discussion pointed out that Xfinity was not listed while Comcast was, so we'll see).  Maybe I'll try manually paying it with Cash+ next time if it doesn't.

I already cashed this month out as a statement credit so I can't post a screenshot, but mine literally only has the greyed out option to transfer to a US Bank account (greyed out since I don't have one), statement credit, or for them to mail me a prepaid debit card (which I did the first time for the $25 extra bonus).  Have you had your card for a while and maybe you're grandfathered in, while they no longer allow it for others?  I got my card in late 2017.

I get some too, but I get more telling me that I haven't activated my REI card and to do so to receive the benefits.   Since they are wrong about that, I worry that they may be wrong about how great Zelle is!

Anyone have TWO Cash+ cards?  I am thinking about it.

Yes, quite a few of us have 2.

Wait, what?  You can get two Cash+ cards for yourself?  As in, not one for you and one for your spouse.. but two in your own name?

Interesting.  I could certainly use another couple 5% categories in my life.  Smiley Happy

Well, in my case it's actually my wife has two, one joint with me and one in her own name.   But in the link posted earlier you will see others with two.

Re: US Bank Cash+

I’ve had my card less time, opened 4/2019.
I’m exclusively using the phone now since it’s not available in app.

I never used Zelle, then again, I just found out a week ago I can do instant transfers from Chase to US Bank as long as it's under $5000.00.

I've only banked with Chase for 12 years, so I haven't had enough time to click on every link/tab.
