WF Propel how do points work? How does it combine with a cash rewards with other cards?

So I'm curious how the points work with the WF Propel card.

Is it 3 points for every dollar spent in their 3x catorgeries and 1x for everything else?

Also if you have like a WF Cash Wise card like i do that's a flat 1.5% back is there separate cash and point rewards categories in your WF GoFar rewards account?

Not sure how it works with the cash wise card, but 3 pts on the Propel is worth 3 cents. Get 3,000 points and convert it to $30 cash back. Or use it for travel using their travel portal. I use cash back all the time for a statement credit.

I guess points are points. 1.5% cash back might be 1.5 points in the GoFar account, but not certain.

Propel is straight forward in earnings as listed for the card on their site.

A little while back they made it so you can do partial redemptions instead of the $25 min requirement which works well for smaller puchases you can basically redeem them for the full purchase instead of hitting thresholds.

As to how they combine w/ other cards someone else can answer that since you have to wait 15 months betwen cards to get the new SUB for each card.

Yes, the redeem for purchases is there but...... I made a $5 purchase and a $4.76 purchase on the card the same day. Then I redeemed the $5 purchase with points. Worked great. The next day I decided to redeem the $4.76 purchase too. It did not show as available to redeem, even though I have enough points to redeem. There were other purchases (all the other large ones that I didn't have enough points for), that were listed. It seems that it limits you from redeeming too many small purchases, because normally every purchase shows as redeemable,  even ones that you don't have enough points for.

Still a great card though.

if you pool GF points to a pool created by a wells fargo signature holder (could be anybody), then you can redeem the points at 150% value. So 3x points becomes 4.5% (or ~5% if you are in a loyalty program) when you redeem it for flight through WF travel portal.

Just make sure to check out the cost of a flight through WF portal vs. Priceline etc. for the identical flight.

I just did a random flight using WF portal vs Priceline. I chose a RT flight from Atlanta to Chicago o'hare December 14 through the 21st on United. Price on WF was $209 or 20810 points. On Priceline, the price was $218.

Not sure why I saw inflated prices on WF. Its possible I misread the airline OR I found another flight on another airline that was cheaper. I did see a DELTA flight on priceline an hour earlier for $172. I need to go see if its available on WF.

Found that the Delta flight IS available on WF portal. That same $172 flight on Priceline was $229 on WF.

So, no, it wasn't the beers making the prices seem different on both sites.

The portal comaprison is one thing but, do multiple accounts with WF combine into a single bucket of points to draw off of was the question.
