No.... I have seen that DOC list before. There should be a more detailed list from your regional banks like Huntington, Key, BMO Harris, and Old National, etc. It would be a good thing when and if banks offer this before an HP. Thank you.
@GApeachy wrote:I posted a link to your other thread that gives a list of which bank pulls what cr. There is mention of some banks like BB&T that do an EQ sp.

If not, DOC has a list of prequal/preapprovals here:

@Anonymous I've merged your two threads on the same topic.
Please avoid cross posting, it creates confusion and it helps avoid redundant answers.
Thank you.

Welcome to the forums! Using a prequal tool usually results in a SP unless otherwise noted. It isn't until you accept the offer that it becomes a HP.
That's absolutely true.
I know of only one card where you can apply and get a concrete offer (e.g., $5,000 at 23.9% APR) through a soft pull. If you accept the offer, it's a hard pull. That card is the Apple Card. Perhaps there are others I don't know about.
A prequalification is always a soft pull. But read the fine print before doing a prequal, though.
I applied 2 weeks ago for BB&T credit cards via there pre approval site. No hard pull got 2 credit cards and still no HP on my reports. Credit card is listed on my reports they are fast putting that on there. They listed the account on my reports before I even got the card! lol But no HP
I went on their Site. Even though there are branches in New York, BB&T has no provision for a New York address within their Preapproval page.
Thank you to everyone! If you think of something else. Please let me know.
