Thanks for the update! I actually applied a few days after I started this topic, but I did not get an answer yet! It's been over a month by this point. I tried calling them a few times, but they said it's still under review and that they are short on staff etc.

How long ago did you apply?

They took awhile to open my account. I still haven't received my referral bonus. I sent them a SM but I didn't get a response.

I don't even have the option to send a SM because I'm not yet a member. They won't discuss my aplication by email, and they tell me every time to please use the SM. Don't they understand that the SM isn't avilable to me yet because I'm not yet a member???

I finally got a message today confirming that I have become a DCU member! I only applied for the savings account opting out of the checking account. I believe I applied around 3 weeks ago, but I'm not super sure. I waited about 3-4 months before applying again since they denied me the first time.

I just applied for that savings account myself, and got instant approval. I was a bit worried because I just opened a Navy savings/checking a month ago.
