Yes that's what I heard but DH had about 20 inquiries when he was approved which surprised me, they pulled EXP only.

Wow. My EX is definitely the dirtiest at the moment, though. Probably an EQ puller would be best

I stand corrected just pulled his report for that day 25 inquiries and a 735 score.

My DH just picked up the PNC core visa card 0% for 15 months. I actually found it on CK believe it or not lol, as I had never heard of them.

I’ve heard a little about them-their cash rewards card looks awesome- but aren’t they a little conservative? See above inquiries lol

I have the PNC Cash Rewards card, and it's my lowest limit.  When I got it, my score was around 700, and I got a $1,500 limit.  Discover gave me $10,000 and American Express gave me $4,200 around the same time (I got them all within a month or so of each other).

That was over 18 months ago and PNC has never given me an auto CLI either, and I'm certainly not going to risk a hard pull to ask for one.  Smiley Happy

In my limited experience, yes, they are quite conservative.

So I’m going to be making some decent-sized purchases in the semi-near future and I may (or may not) want to try out a card with a long intro period apr. What cards are good for such things and also have a good chance of giving me a decent SL? Chase is out as I’m sure you guessed.

If I do this, it wouldn’t be right away, but not so distant-future that I’d have a bunch of inqs falling off.

DPs:

FICOs all in the low 700s

Reported income around 35k

Inqs between 5-10 depending on bureau, several in last six months

AAoA around a year, AoYA a month

No negatives ever

Like I said, I might not do anything at all, because I don’t want another card if it’s going to mean a toy limit. The card doesn’t have to have rewards- - I just want a long intro 0%

Suggestions/advice?

Thanks!

I could be missing something, but I don't think anyone has asked if you have any military ties? What you're looking for screams Navy Federal Platinum if you can clear membership. Purchase on one of your other cards, and BT over to the Platinum 0% APR 12 months offer on new accounts.
