@CreditCuriosity yeah it's definitely not utilization, it's got to be looking at the actual revolving balances for that flag. I wonder where the threshold is $5000? I wonder if it varies by scorecard etc. I wonder if this score even uses scorecards? Lol

Definitely balances. People with scores in the low 600's achieved the highest ratings we've seen so far, and their total balances were under $100.

I can get my own Resilience Index to change from 55 to 53, just by reporting a little under $1000 vs. $1688 for total balance.

Man I think I take the risk at being the most risky, actually i might be runner up #2 it appear?    Current EQ 08 is 768.  Possibly cause i just bought a car about 4 months ago and also refinanced my house 6 months ago approximately so showing high installment balance.  Also currently carrying 5k in CC debt along with a 6k installment loan initial balance 10.5k on 36 month term.  650k available credit approximately.  I am going to default i tell you, not...

No baddies or high ultization ther then installment loans house/car as mentioned.  Alot of inquiries though 11 on EQ in last year.

3 risk flags as can be seen.  Reason 1 and 3 sure i can buy as mentioned.. Reason 2 hog wash as 4.3k on 18k CL other cards are all 0 max CL 61.5k

@CreditCuriosity: Congratulations on defeating @K-in-Boston , a formidable opponent! You now hold the Golden Chalice!

If you want to get the worst rating we've seen so far, a 76, I think you'll have to get an EQ 8 800 score! lol

(K-in-Boston still keeps the 'Customer of the Year' award at Poulet Frit Kentucky.)

EQ FICO Resilience Index

Leaderboard as of September 27, 2020

Breaking News

@CreditCuriosity has taken The Golden Chalice from K-in-Boston !

Dogbert is still KEEPER of The Golden Sword! for having the highest/worst score ever - a 76 !

Lulah is still sole possessor of the Gold Key with a score of 37 !

  • FICO issued a press release about this score and it triggered a flurry of articles in the mainstream press.
  • The Washington Post published an article about this 'new score'. Plenty more articles on Google here.
  • Lots of article authors are wondering if/when consumers will be able to obtain their score. (lol)
  • The first score was submitted to this thread on March 29, 2020.
  • New Podcast Interview: The Scores Vice President of FICO talks about the new FICO Resilience Index.

This Resilience Index score is included with a myFICO subscription. It will be shown on the dashboard.

And as always - lower rating (higher number) doesn't mean that person has a bad credit profile in any way.

This score is really sensitive to balance amounts and it doesn't matter if you have a 600 or 850.

@CreditCuriosity: lol You'll be just fine, same as before! The Golden Chalice should be held with pride! (It's golden, not actual gold. Like 4K gold immersion plating. haha)

Dogbert has the worst rating we've seen so far - a 76 - and he recently got approved for the lowest rate on a mortgage.

@K-in-Boston  has a few recent CLIs.

Re: FICO Score Stress Indicators/Indexes

Lol not worried Smiley Happy..  Dont think anyone uses it persay my DTI is under 32% and overall low CC useage compared to income as mentioned think it is just the new installment loans being new house due to refi and new car loan that made my score worse than @K-in-Boston score Smiley Tongue

Re: FICO Score Stress Indicators/Indexes

I've been dethroned?!  Well, my EQ 8 score is back up to 818, so we'll find out next week when I pull my 3B reports how that impacted my resilience score.  So far, we know that replacing a loan with a new one at 100%, sending the balances up a few thousand dollars, and getting a new credit card made me one point less risky (then I gained that point back the next month when the loan was like 6% paid and the revolving balances went down).  My guess is that I'll still be "Very Sensitive" for as long as I bother looking at the score.

Going by the reports so far, I think the absolute worst position someone could be in is having a sub 700 score and a 70+ Resilience Index score. Two of the highest ratings we've seen so far were from people with 600-650 scores, but also very low balances.

Just like most of the people in the 'Sensitive, 60-69' range, you were ok before and ok now. (You knew it already, I'm just pointing it out for others.)

I can't wait for the FICO CEO AMA so I can ask about his exuberance for this score model.

"y u make this? people in 800+ score badly?!?!?"...would also work.

Re: FICO Score Stress Indicators/Indexes

Hi Cassie,

I have been slammed so I am late with this month's score. I am now 60 down from with the same 2 flag/indicators.5F190309-30F0-45B6-9D16-8492ABF20873.png

Re: FICO Score Stress Indicators/Indexes

Yeah I’m a little late myself I’m up to 67. I think I’ve been hanging out with @sarge12 or something. Same two flags increased balances, I think.

@Anonymous I finally got around to updating my scores in my siggy as well. The increased number of revolvers with a balance cause some losses on a few. I switch scorecards to no new accounts November.
