FICO issued a press release about this score and it triggered a flurry of articles in the press. The Washington Post published an article about this 'new score'. Plenty more articles on Google here. Many article authors are wondering if/when consumers will be able to obtain their score. (lol) The first score was submitted to this thread on March 29, 2020. New Podcast Interview: A VP of Scores at FICO talks about the new FICO Resilience Index. This Resilience Index score is included with a myFICO subscription. It will be shown on the dashboard. And as always - lower rating (higher number) doesn't mean that person has a bad credit profile in any way. This score is really sensitive to balance amounts and it doesn't matter if you have a 600 or 850.

Made some purchases that put my CU to 10%. My stress score jumped to 60 from 58. Bummer.

This makes me think...started Family FICO 02/2020 as a 2019 goal. I went from 59 to 57 and same 2 flags...need to go back and do basic math like Cassie did and find range...then the question is would this thread go to 02/2021?! And to reiterate - DH now has 32 but maybe had 37 at start...Either way more to come...I am really concerned about where the logic intersects with the end of the rabbit hole...at this point, be resilient with nothing or NOT be resilient with anything...UGH...when it rains, it pours..thanks for reading...

I'll definitely be around through 02/2021 - I've got a nice series of monthly score gains to watch for from now through March.

Right now, this Resilience Index is on the same level as a Vantage Score 3.0/4.0 score. It's just not something to worry about if you're above 700 FICO scores, and even at 650 FICO 8s I'm not even sure there are any major lenders looking at this score right now.

A FICO VP of Scores said in an interview that lenders were very enthusiastic, but who knows what that really means. It could be some form of 'fake it 'til you make it' marketing, or maybe it's just lenders that cater to the subprime market.
